About Oak Creek Intermediate School
Oak Creek Intermediate (OCI) has an enrollment of approximately 240 sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students that come from the general Oakhurst/Bass Lake area.
We are proud of our educational program and have a great deal of support from our community and parents. We have an active parent group that meets on a regular basis as well as our SIP council, which is composed of staff and parent representatives.
We also have a superior staff that is dedicated to providing our students with the best educational experience possible. OCI has a solid core academic program in the morning where reading, language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, and physical education are emphasized. In the afternoon we have an elective periods of 40 minutes. There are a variety of electives offered such as art, instrumental band, sports, crafts, U.S. & World Geography, and Spanish. OCI also offers academic enrichment classes to help students increase their proficiency in specific areas
Our students also may participate in various co-curricular activities such as sports, academic pentathlon, GATE (Gifted and Talented Education) programs, field trips, dances, and other activities.

The principal's door is open to all students, parents/guardians, and guests. If you have a need, come to the office and ask to see the principal.
OCI Office Staff
The school secretary will try to answer any questions or direct you to the person who can. The office is open between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
