About Oak Creek Intermediate School Oak Creek Intermediate (OCI) has an enrollment of approximately 180 sixth-, seventh-, and eighth-grade students that come from the general Oakhurst/Bass Lake area. We are proud of our educational program and have a great deal of support from our community and parents. We have an active parent group that meets on a regular basis which is composed of staff and parent representatives. We also have a superior staff that is dedicated to providing our students with the best educational experience possible. OCI has a solid core academic program in the morning where reading, language arts, social studies, science, mathematics, and physical education are emphasized. We have an elective period each day of 40 minutes. There are a variety of electives offered such as art, instrumental band, Spanish, Health and fitness, mental math, leadership, and drama. OCI also offers academic enrichment classes to help students increase their proficiency in areas of need. OCI has an active ASB and Leadership class that plan dances and spirit activities throughout the year. OCI students participate in the Madera County Office of Education Academic Pentathlon and Mountain Area Ski School at Badger Pass ski area in Yosemite National Park.
Oak Creek Principal The principal's door is open to all students, parents/guardians, and guests. If you have a need, come to the office and ask to see the principal.
OCI Office Staff The school secretary is available to answer any questions or direct you to the person who can. The office is open between 7:30 a.m. and 4 p.m.
